Your Guide to Preparing, Experiencing, and Integrating Our Healing Sessions

FAQs

Below are some of the most common questions we get about breathwork and somatic healing. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us.

  • Before your session, it's important to have a clear intention in mind. Take time during the day to reflect on what you want to gain from the experience, and try to keep your evening free afterward to rest and process.

A clear body is essential. Avoid alcohol or substances for 48 hours before your session to ensure your body remains open and connected. It’s also recommended to eat lightly or avoid heavy meals close to the session. Wear comfortable clothing such as loose-fitting sweats, and notify us of any pre-existing conditions ahead of time.

  • Each session begins with 15-20 minutes of discussion, where you'll have the chance to share about yourself and your current experiences. Together, we’ll create an intention for the session. Depending on the type of session you’ve chosen (e.g., fascia release, medicine work, or breathwork), you will be guided through a personalized journey, which may include hands-on facilitation, intuitive healing, or energy work.

After the session, we allow time for rest and integration, followed by 20 minutes to reflect and discuss your experience. Every session is unique, leading to new insights and changes within yourself. We approach each session with fresh eyes, helping you create lasting transformation.

  • After your session, your body and emotions may go through a deep process of transformation. It’s important to honor this by giving yourself time to integrate. In the days that follow, you may feel lighter, more joyful, or energized—embrace this space and celebrate your new awareness.

It’s also natural for additional emotions to surface as part of the healing process. Approach these feelings with compassion and allow them to move through you. We will provide after-care recommendations, which include taking a quiet evening, a hot shower or epsom salt bath, eating nourishing food, staying hydrated, and avoiding alcohol.

  • We require 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to your booking. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in charges.

  • Yes, please inform us if you have any history of high blood pressure, concussions, cancer, substance abuse, or significant mental health issues. A phone or video consultation will be necessary to assess your safety and suitability for the session.
